The International Journal of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (IJTMB) is an open access, peer-reviewed publication intended to accommodate the diverse needs of the rapidly-expanding therapeutic massage and bodywork community. Principal sections of the journal span the areas of research, education, and clinical practice.

IJTMB is indexed in PubMed Central, Quarterly, the Directory of Open Access Journals, CrossRef, Healthindex, Index Copernicus, Google Scholar, Hinari , Scopus, Norske Senter for Forskningsdata (NSD) and Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals, Series and Publishers. IJTMB has been assigned the following 2020 journal indicator ratings: SNIP 0.46, CiteScore 1.0, and SJR 0.230.

This special issue on Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork for Pain Management will showcase the potential for massage and bodywork to impact the understanding, treatment, and lived experience of pain, as well as quality of life and overall wellness. We invite researchers, educators, practitioners, students, and advocates to submit original research, case reports, literature reviews, commentaries, and more (please see full description).
